Grab a map of California and point to anywhere! Warmer days are on the horizon. Around this time of year, many people tend to hit the road more often or plan road trips for the upcoming months. Whether you will be traveling near or far, it is a good idea to have your car checked on and prepared for lengthy travels. This week, our agency has four spring car care tips to share.

#1: Test the A/C. Imagine a day without A/C during this time of year? Now would be a good time to have it checked on.

#2: Check your tires. Inspect your tires before you make any long trips. If your tires look deflated, fill them up. This will not only decrease the chance of a blowout, but will help you save on gas mileage. If your tires are looking worn down, you may need to replace them.

#3: Clean the exterior and interior. This is spring cleaning for your car! Make your car clean and shiny from the inside, out.

#4: Visit a professional for the rest. Visit a professional auto body shop or mechanic to have your fluids filled, belts and hoses checked, air filters cleaned/replaced, and more.

If you are ready to hit the roads of California state this spring, these tips will ensure a smooth ride. The last thing that you want is to be stuck on the side of the road on beautiful day!

If you have any questions, concerns or simply want to check-in on your auto insurance, do not hesitate to call our agency. Now is a great time to look over your policy and make sure you are 100% covered for the season. Give us a call, today!
